James Park

Following years of blood, sweat, and tears in the kitchen of many reputable restaurants in Perth and as a Sous chef at two-stars Michelin restaurant in Seoul, South Korea, Chef James has called Kozy and Cherry and Grapes his permanent home in Perth.

When asked about the concept of Kozy and the thoughts behind it, Chef James replied, “I am trying to create a menu with an Asian flavours profile incorporating a European twist, also textures and aromas. With a strong background in Korean, Japanese, Italian and French cuisine diners can expect some dishes that have been modernised to surprise their taste buds.

Reservation policy

Please be advised before making your reservations:

  • Being a small space, the largest reservation size is 6 people in a group. If you have more than 6 people please send us an email at kozyrestaurantandbar@gmail.com

  • We take solo diners for limited spots.

  • Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

  • We have very limited seats and reserved will have the full menu of 5~6 courses (one menu)

  • We are fully licensed however, Welcome to bring your own wine (only wine) The corkage fee is $15 per bottle.

  • Bookings can be made online only. (If you have any questions, please email us)

  • Sorry, No Walk-in. We are only taking reservations.

  • On the 1st of each month at 0:00 am, we will open bookings for the following month.

    • Booking from 22nd of May to June.

    • Bookings for July: Available from the 1st of June at 0:00 am.

    • If you have NOT RECEIVED the AUTOMATIC CONFIRMATION email within minutes, your table is NOT RESERVED YET, please send us an email to avoid disappointment.

Allergies and dietary

  • Since we operate in a small place, people with severe allergies may not be able to be catered.

  • Any wish to change the menu due to dietary requirements must have been confirmed by us at least 48 hours before your booking. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make any changes without notice.

  • Please note that we are unable to accept reservations in certain cases listed below, as this may impact the health and safety of our customers. Also, reservations may be declined if you wish to remove a wide variety of ingredients. These are our essential ingredients and we thank you for your understanding.

  • Dairy product allergies and lactose intolerance

  • Egg allergy (While we can avoid dishes with eggs as the main ingredient, trace amounts may still be present.)

  • Gluten-free (Please kindly ask us we are trying to do our best)

  • Vegan meals

  • Peanut allergy and nuts allergy (May contain trace amounts of these.)

  • Soy allergy (Soy itself can be avoided. Unable to exclude extracts from soy, such as miso and soy sauce.)

  • No fish stocks and sea kelp stocks

  • Please get in touch with us to discuss dietaries if you are unsure before making your booking.

Cancellation policy

  • Require a credit or debit card pre-authorisation of $109.

  • However, if you cancel, No show, or reduce the reserved size within 48 hours of your booking, a cancellation fee of

    $109 per person will be taken.
